小朋友的天真-可愛﹐煩厭﹐一線之差。

Circle時﹐小女孩不斷在我說話時與隔鄰的小男孩高談闊論﹐談得高興到笑聲大過我的聲音。我實在已經不能忍受﹐便“su” 了小女孩示意她要zip up her mouth because it’s Ms. Diana’s turn to talk! And it’s circle time, she should be listening but not talking! 小女孩的反應是---放聲大哭! 可愛﹖她說話﹐我“su” 她﹐究竟是誰的錯﹖三歲幾的小朋友就是這樣“可愛” 嗎﹖

Today, our daycare went to the Pumkin Patch with the children. I was looking forward to the field trip because I've never been to Pumkin Patch before. Just as I got off the exit to Steveston from hwy99, thats where the first line up begins. I waited for the 5th light to make a left turn, then I realized, all the cars are going to the Pumkin Patch. Wow..there were soooo many cars/people/children at that place. Very funny how some preschool they have their vests that have their school name on it...and it's in bright yellow too! I'm sure the children won't get lost. We have a tag that has our school name and phone number on it too! In case children are lost, someone will know who to contact!

We waited for the children and parents to come at the main entrance. It was freezing cold, but I already put on my ski jacket! I was going to put on my mittens too, but then luckily I got to hold two children's hands that were soooo warm!!! Sorry children, Ms. Diana's hands are too cold for you!

The whole trip was about lining up and keeping the children within your reachable distance. It was difficult though, because children have no patient in waiting. And since they are so short, they can't see what's going on in front and what they are waiting for. Thank God, no children were lost and the two children who held my hands were doing alright. I guess the worst thing happened, which I've predicted was that I had to carry 3 heavy pumpkins!! They were soooo HEAVY!!!! They were way too heavy for the children to carry! So, I had to carry for them! But I don't have hands to hold them anymore, what I did is to ask them to hold my zipper on my jacket...hahahaha...quite smart eh? hohohoho...! I think those pumpkins are the heaviest thing I've ever hold in my hands that my muscles are so painful now...and my palms...hurt so much still..now whenever I do anything with my hands, they hurt. I hope it'll get better soon, because my hands are so important in my job.

All in all, it was a fun experience, and I'm sure the children enjoyed it too! And Thanks God for letting the rain to wait until we left the patch! It was pouring when we arrived back to school!!
